A Sucker for A Read Head

There is no car that I dream of owning more than a 1958 250TR. Nothing rivals the 12 peeping through the bonnet juxtaposed to the pontoon fenders. Unfortunately, the entrance to the 250 club costs atleast a couple million. And lets get this strait, a replica build on a Fiero is NO substitute!!! Check out this beauty...Comments?...
Ferrari Enzo

This car is undeniably one of the hottest supercars on the market today. It is a showboat for Ferrari's amazing F1 technology and an illustration of Ferrari's commitment to the synergy between man and machine. However, this autohead must ask the question: is the Enzo's influence on the ideal of the supercar negative or positive? I would argue that spirited motoring is about man utilizing machine not vice versa. The Enzo uses the driver as a navigation system while the car's computer wizardry does the rest. It is this lack of driver involvement that degrades the Enzo experience. The F40 and F50 both forced the driver to dedicate 100% of his attention to driving( In fact, the F50 was deemed by some too demanding on the driver!) while the Enzo seems to estrange the driver/car relationship. I simply wonder is the direction the Enzo is heading beneficial to the idea of the supercar? Imagine a day in which Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Pagani no longer offer a gated shifter becuase it is deemed technologically defficient. Although this day is far away, it is no way impossible.
